This is a presentation of photos of rock art that exists in many different Oregon and some Washington locations. These range from the Columbia River Gorge to central Oregon to southern Oregon, particularly Lake County. Locations are intentionally vague to further preservation. (Seriously interested explorers feel free to contact me.) Petroglyphs are much more numerous than pictographs.
These pictures were all taken using several different means by myself and my favorite R.A.R.E companion, Lee Ann, during R.A.R.Es (Rock Art Recording Expeditions) in the summers of 2002, 2003 and 2004. My thanks to Lee Ann for sharing.
