     Preservation of rock art is an ongoing

 task that modern day enthusiasts have an 

unwritten obligation to further.  

      There are many sites that are 

threatened by the onslaught of civilization 

in the form of freeways and housing developments.  

Among many others, the threat in Albuquerque,

New Mexico is particularly urgent.

      As individuals visiting these sites we aid

 in these efforts by observing proper rock art 

etiquette.
